    I thank you for, I think, seeing my post in the light intended. I cannot say that I speak for all Christians, for all Episcopalians, or even for ALL members of my own parish…but I do believe what I CAN say, is that being Christian is far greater than going to church and praying.

    Yes, I believe there is extreme value in worship and in prayer… far greater than I understand, even if our God HAS given me the ability to rank in the top 5 percent on all of those I.Q. tests.

    The nature of faith cannot be measured by any mathematical means. But even so, even if there is no way to prove it, I am certain that the God I honor is as real as anything I can place my hands upon.

    But the people of God are a dynamic and creative people…because God made his children in the likeness of himself.

    Yes, I agree that this is difficult to take in, but whom among us believes that he or she understands ALL that we name GOD? The real work is in trying to put to work what we believe.
