A few days ago, I posted a mystery photo and offered a prize to anyone who could guess what it was. Unfortunately, the contest proved to be too great a challenge; a few posted replies, but none guessed right.

You were looking at a close-up of the light fixture above my mirror. Looks much better with the light on than off, I think. Anyway, that was fun.
